Low Crime ≠ No Crime

All around Singapore you will bound to see banner with headings such as "Low Crime Doesn't Mean No Crime". This is one of the way which the Police have adapted to create awareness of the current low crime situation. As all know Singapore has a relatively low crime rate, thus citizens tend to be unaware that crimes do still happen in the context of Singapore.

It is important that citizens be aware and not doing anything that might attract the criminals attentions to make you their target; wearing too many jewellery unnecessarily.

Therefore, if you do witness a crime, do not hesitate and contact the Police.
Do not attempt to stop the crime by yourself.

FEAR In Us

Few years back, there is a case of terrorism in Singapore, I believe that at that period of time there is fear in many. Till now many might have forgotten the fear we had during those days. Imagine what would happened if they succeeded?

At the MRT(Mass Rapid Transport) there is often announcement and one of it is "If you see any suspicious person or article, please contact our service office or call 999". Even though we are so familiar with it that some of us can even recite it, but who really follows it?

Although it's police to keep us safe however they cannot be everywhere, therefore, it is our duty to report any suspicious person(s) or article(s) to the police or security.
